The Important Bits!

Opening times. Booth bookings. Drag nights. Dress code.
All the important stuff, no awkward DMs required.

Where is EVA and how do I find you?

We’re right in the heart of Manchester’s Gay Village on Sackville Street. If you’re near Canal Street and you can hear pop anthems, questionable karaoke high notes, and someone shouting “YASSSS”, you’re close. We’re just a short walk from Piccadilly Station, so no excuses.

What actually happens at EVA on a night out?

Chaos. Glitter. Karaoke. Drag. DJs. Dancing on tables (the metaphorical kind… mostly).

Upstairs you’ll find a lounge vibe perfect for cocktails and gossip. Downstairs? That’s where the party lives. Expect pop bangers, dancefloor classics and the kind of energy that makes you forget what time it is.

Do I need tickets to get in?

Most nights you can just rock up and strut in. For big events like Pride, themed parties or New Year’s Eve, we might run tickets or guest lists. If it’s a big one, we’ll shout about it on socials.

Is EVA LGBTQ+ friendly?

EVA is a safe, inclusive space for our community and allies. Come as you are. Come as your alter ego. Come in six-inch heels or trainers. Just bring good vibes and respect for everyone in the room.

Is there karaoke and can I live my popstar dreams?

es and yes.

Karaoke is a big deal here. Whether you’re a Mariah-level vocalist or aggressively confident, the mic is waiting. Power ballads encouraged. Duets mandatory. Dramatic pointing optional but recommended.

Can I book a booth for my birthday or hen party?

Absolutely. Birthdays, hens, stags, divorce parties, “just because it’s Friday” parties — we’ve got you.

Book a booth, bring your crew, order the cocktails and let us handle the soundtrack to your main character moment.

What music do you play?

Pop anthems. Dance classics. Chart hits. Throwbacks. The songs you pretend you don’t love but absolutely scream at 1am.

If it makes you feel something and gets you moving, it belongs on the EVA dancefloor.

What time are you open until?

Late. Very late. Weekend-late.

Sun-Thu: 8pm – 5am
Friday: 6pm – 6am
Saturday: 4pm – 6pm

We’re known for keeping the party going well into the early hours, especially on Fridays and Saturdays!

Is there a dress code?

We’re not here for boring. Be bold. Be glam. Be casual-cool. Be sparkly. Be dramatic. Just make it you. The only thing we don’t allow is bad energy.

Is EVA close to other Gay Village bars?

We’re right in the middle of it all. That means you can start with us, end with us, or make us the chaotic middle chapter of your Gay Village crawl. No long walks in heels required.
